Biography:
Simon specialises in active asset-management and development projects. A professional Chartered Surveyor, he has been involved in the UK property market for over 25 years. During 14 years as Managing Director of Capital & Provident, he acquired numerous investment portfolios requiring active asset-management and managed a range of developments from inception to completion, including residential, hotel and mixed use schemes with end values above £300 million.
In 2008, Simon founded his own business, Augur Group Limited.
Simon has wide experience of counter-cyclical investment and active management opportunities, including retail developments, office refurbishments and upgrading of industrial estates, obtaining strategic planning consents and undertaking substantial residential schemes.
Acquisitions include portfolios from Norwich Union, Nationwide Building Society, Etam Group, Co-Operative Stores and British Petroleum.
